Analisis wacana kritis perutusan Perdana Menteri Dr. Mahathir Mohamad

Abstract

This article intent to show that discipline of linguistics - with reference to critical discourse analysis framework should be combined by the social analyst (so do linguist) in their social analysis work. For the purpose, this article analyzed the discourse of Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. It is found that a public oriented leadership practice, authoritative leadership practice, and ideology of "leadingleader" are hidden in the Prime Minister's messages.
