Linguistik antropologi: pengaruh pemikiran Boas
Abstract
This article attempts to trace the thoughts of Boas, a renowned American anthropologist and linguist of the early 20th century, which exert a dominant influence in the discipline of contemporary anthropological linguistics in its orientation, scope; and methodology. The influence of Boas 's thoughts is examined in the subjects undertaken by him: Anthropology, ethnology and linguistics.
