This corpus used a framework that combines Brown and Levinson's politeness theory and Grice's Cooperative Principle (CP), to create a model that is defined as the Pattern of Combination of Strategy and Maxim Model to analized 294 dialouges in Q&A content structure. Pattern of Combination of Strategy and Maxim Model consists of four patterns of combined strategies and maxim that are later based on two main patterns which are P2 and P3. P2 is a positive and negative politeness strategy while P3 is an off-record strategy and both has its own relation within its CP maxim. The result of this study depicts that the participants in this talk show have applied Pattern of Combination of Strategy and Maxim Model which seen that first variation of Pattern A dominates their utterance to avoid conflict.
